Join a Rescue Group So you want to help? That's great and there are many ways that you can help in this work. First see if there is a Fox Terrier Rescue individual or group or club in your area. If there is, then contact them and ask if you can help in some way. Let them know what your background is in Fox Terriers and what you feel you can offer. Be honest and don't offer what you can't or won't do. If you are able to take a foster dog into your home that great, but there are other things that you can do to help. Fund raising for rescue is one, as they can always use money and supplies. Answering phone calls on the rescue dogs and talking to prospective adopters. You will need to know the breed and be willing to follow the guidelines of that specific group. Help at Pet Fairs, where they go to show off the dogs that are available and to educate the public about Fox Terriers. It's best to work with someone that knows what they are doing and has experience in the field if you are just starting.
