Rescue Fund Donations The Fox Terrier Network has a Rescue Fund from which we are able to help many of the Fox Terrier Rescue groups and individual Fox Terriers in need. This fund is administrated by a five-member Rescue Committee. We are always happy to accept donations to the Rescue Fund from those that want to help, but can't do hands-on Rescue work. Every penny that is donated goes directly to pay bills for the Rescue Fox Terriers. There are no administrative expenses. We use the Fund to help when there is a Fox Terrier in a shelter in an area where there is no Fox Terrier Rescue group to help. We work with other breed rescue groups and shelter volunteers and often can get a Fox Terrier out of a shelter and shipped or driven to an area where there is a Fox Terrier group to help. Sometimes all the work is donated, but sometimes we do have expenses. The Rescue Fund can help in some of these cases. We try not to allow a Fox Terrier to die in a shelter because there was no one and no money to help. We try everything to find a way for that dog. But it often takes money. We also have situations where a specific dog may need special medical care or surgery. Above what the rescue worker can afford to pay for. In these cases we are there to help pay some of the costs. These are some of the ways that the Rescue Fund helps our Fox Terriers. But we can only help them if we have the money. That's where you come in! We thankfully accept any donation and your donation is tax deductable as we are a federal 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We also have recently set up the Fox Terrier Angels. This is where you pledge a small amount on a monthly basis for a year. For many that is easier than a larger amount at one time. We also have Fox Terrier items available to buy though this website and a percentage of the procedes will also go to the Rescue Fund. We have some companies that if you buy merchandise though them and mention the Fox Terrier Network, we will get a donation from that vendor. So be sure to check out our "Items for Sale" page. However you decide, be sure to know that your donation will help the unfortanate Fox Terriers that so need our help. And that your donation will help make that happen!
