2002 FTN Photo Contest Smooth Fox Terriers
Judge: Pam Bishop Pam Bishop started in dogs in the late 60's after several years involved in showing horses. For 25 yrs she was a breeder/exhibitor and professional handler of Dobermans. Adding Manchester Terriers and then Smooth Fox Terriers as the years went by. She had always helped in rescue for any dog or horse that needed help, but in the mid 90's she retired completely from showing and breeding and started doing Fox Terrier Rescue on a full time basis. At that time she and Bonnie Guzman started the Fox Terrier Network. Seeing a need for the pet owner to have a voice and for support for Fox Terrier Rescue and an education program for the public, they put together the beginnings of FTN. Pam has been the president for four of the six years that FTN has been in existence.
