2008 Photo Contest Rules
The 2008 Photo Contest has closed, below are the 2008 rules, judges and entries.
Contest Rules:
- All photos must be owned by the person entering them.
- No photo entered in a previous contest can be entered again.
- All photo entry fees must be paid before photos are put on the website.
- You may enter as many photos as you wish. Each photo can only be entered in one category.
- Please include a caption for each photo - something to explain the photo - ie : "Spot by the pool".
- Include your name, address, and e-mail address with each photo. Please put this on any photo sent to FTN. Include a SASE if you wish your photos returned.
"What Fox Terriers Love" is any Wire or Smooth Fox Terrier with someone or something that they love, or doing what they love to do. It is an open category You may enter as many times as you wish (please do!) but each photo can only go in one category.
The contest closes on Jan. 15, 2009 and then the judging starts.
There are many prizes in each category and a "Best in Show", the best picture from the first place winners in the three categories.
There is a $3.00 entry fee for each photo. This money goes to our General Fund. It may then be distributed to either the Education Fund, the Rescue Fund or the Daisy Fund, as funds are needed. The Education Fund pays for our website work and maintance and for the several brochures that we make available at no cost to the public. We also have ads in magazines to help those people looking for information on the Wire and Smooth Fox Terrier. Other projects are in the works, pending funding. The Rescue Fund helps with fox terriers currently in FTRescue that have medical needs above what the FT Rescuer can afford. The Daisy Fund helps with medical needs of dogs who have been placed out of Rescue or shelters above what the owner can afford.
You can enter by email, by sending your photos (please, .jpg files only) to: photocontest@foxterrier.com. When sending .jpg files please send the largest file that you have. You can pay securely online by clicking on the button.

If you enter the contest you are giving us the right to use your photo at our discretion. Please allow 1-5 days for a photo to be posted on the website. We appreciate your patience with this volunteer fundraising effort.
