Punish Yourself (not the dog) Do have a rolled up newspaper or magazine handy for potty training. If the puppy makes a mistake, take the rolled up paper and hit yourself in the head over and over while repeating, “I Will Watch Puppy Closer Next Time and Take Him Out Sooner.” That’s the key folks!
