I have been busy helping Dad install drywall. My favorite tool is his Ridgid cordless drill, the sound it makes is music to my ears because whenever he uses it, treats for me are usually involved. Remodeling is truly a yummy experience for me and of course, I am always on hand to inspect every tiny detail to ensure that Quality goes in before the name “Rowdy” goes on.

Jasper and I spend a lot of time making sure that Mum’s floors stay clean. She is a terrier-ific cook and I make it a personal mission in life to make sure that if any food is dropped on the floor I am right there “snarfing” it up. I often hear humans talking about a five second rule for food items that hit the floor and I think it’s the job of every red-blooded fox terrier to make sure that the five second rule never comes into play in their home. I always do my best vacuum cleaner impersonation whenever a goodie hits the tile and my protege Jasper is quickly becoming proficient in nabbing his share too.

According to folklore St. Patrick was responsible for banishing all the snakes from Ireland. Well, not to be outdone my brother Jasper, the Welsh, and I dispatched a rubber snake in our own abode. It didn’t matter that our Dad kept the creepy fake thing to scare birds out of our garage; we felt it was necessary to hone our own snake hunting skills. The 9th Fox Terrier Fun Walk took place in Brighton, UK on April 27,2013

They had 66 dogs attend, including 50 Wire Fox Terrier and 2 Smooth Fox Terriers. They had a wonderful terrier time!This is an annual event where many different terriers come to join the fox terriers in a day fun for owners and dogs.

Well we had another snow storm and YOURS truly enjoyed a fun romp in the yard with my sister Asta Blu. Here she is whispering in my ear about how absolutely regal I look in my red hoodie. I must say my sister has impeccable taste and she is just as stunning in her blue outfit. We entertained our Mum with our backyard antics and posed for a few pictures. I enjoy the snow but I think I really prefer spring and warmer temperatures. Take care everyone and stay warm.

In recent months we have helped several fox terriers with large medical bills, but we aren’t getting the donations that we need to cover more that will come.  Without that and the hard work of our Fund Raising Committee, we’ll not be able to help the next fox terrier that applies. The Daisy Fund is for owners of Smooth and Wire Fox Terriers that have been adopted from a shelter or rescue group and that have life threatening medical problems, or medical needs that effect the quality of life. Hi Everydoggie,

Some days good fortune comes our way when we least expect it. The other day MY Mum found a box that she had stored away and I couldn’t believe MY good fortune, it was full of “doggie toys”. All kinds of toys, squeaky toys, chew toys, soft toys and pull ropes. I have been very busy getting “acquainted” with all of MY new treasure. In true terrier fashion I have chewed up, de-squeaked and literally “worked over” everything in the box. Life is good right now and I am sure enjoying myself.
