The Fox Terrier Network (FTN) is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS. This means that any donations made to FTN are tax deductible. Much of the work that we do and hope to do in the future is funded by donations from you, the public that loves the Wire Fox Terrier and Smooth Fox Terrier and want to help. We have four Funds that you can donate to,: the General Fund, the Rescue Fund, the Daisy Fund, and the Lucy Fund. The General Fund pays  our bills.  The FTN board can transfer funds from the General Fund into the other three funds as needs arise.

The Rescue Fund helps Fox Terrier Rescue people all over the world with extra funds to help with dogs that need special surgery or medication. It also can help with transportation if there is no one in Fox Terrier Rescue near the dog in need – whatever the Rescue Committee feels is needed to save a life when the local Fox Terrier Rescue group cannot afford it.  We have helped pay for special eye surgery on a wonderful Wire Fox Terrier that was only 5 yrs old and blind. She had lived all her life in a puppy mill making money for someone. She is now in a wonderful, loving home and can see! We have paid for medical tests on a Wire from another puppy mill that helped diagnose a treatable problem. She is now living out her life, loved and cared for. We paid for a surgery on a Smooth that was turned into Fox Terrier Rescue because the owner didn’t want to take the responsibility of paying for the surgery that he needed to live. He is now in a new home, healthy and happy.

Our Daisy Fund helps with above normal medical needs for fox terriers who have come through a rescue group and have been placed in a loving, forever home.  These dogs may otherwise be unable to be placed, due to ongoing medical needs.  Click this link to find out more about the Daisy Fund.

The Lucy Fund is to help with medical bills for fox terriers who are owned by FTN members.  You have to be a member for a year or more before you would qualify to receive these funds.

All money donated to FTN goes directly to these Funds and helps the Fox Terriers. All board members and committee members are volunteers and none take any salary from the club. When you donate to FTN, all the money goes to help the dogs. We hope that you will consider donating to FTN. You can earmark your donation to any of the four Funds or just let us use it where it is needed most. We also hope that you will consider remembering FTN in your will. We will be happy to talk to your attorney about this. It is a wonderful way to keep on helping, even after you’re gone. And if you haven’t already done so, please consider joining FTN. Your support means a great deal to us.

The FTN Board has approved the following donation levels and complimentary gifts:

$1000 or greater – Best in Show – free one year membership in FTN, FTN t-shirt, Wire or Smooth note cards
$500 to $999.99 – Reserve Best in Show – free one year membership in FTN
$250 to $499.99 – Best in Group – FTN t-shirt
$100 to $249.99 – Best in Breed – Wire or Smooth note cards
$50 to $99.99 – Award of Merit – Wire or Smooth note cards
$1 to 49.99 – Winners – thank you card

Unless you specify otherwise, we will include your name in our list of donors to be printed in our April newsletter.
